Sarah taught for Axis Dance Company’s Winter Blitz series.

Sarah performed in Dance Brigade’s evening-length work Butterfly Effect at Dance Mission Theater in San Francisco. Created and directed by Krissy Keefer. Sarah was in the cast of 14 dancers and musicians performing in three distinct immersive worlds of dance, percussion, light, video, poetry, and social commentary.

Isadora Duncan Dance Awards (The Izzies) ceremony at Brava Theater in San Francisco to recognize the 2018-2019 awardees and nominees. SBDP has been nominated in two categories: Outstanding Achievement in Performance – Company and Outstanding Achievement in Music/Sound/Text.

Alejandra Cadena-Perez’s 2019 film Her Mother’s Daughter starring Priscilla Regalado and Stephanie Bastos (choreography and casting assistance by Sarah Bush) was screened and awarded at several short film festivals!

Movement Murmuration workshop in-person.
Movement Murmuration is a site-responsive experience with stations of improvisation led by dancers from the SixFootWingspan project. Participants will be placed in small groups for socially distant, guided movement exploration in relationship to the outdoor landscape, one another, and the birds.

Sarah, Richelle Donigan & Sue Li Jue danced in a forthcoming project for media artist, John Sanborn.
November
Filmmaker Lindsay Gauthier, Sound Designer Miles Lassi, and dancers KJ Dahlaw & Sarah Bush met with Olivia Raine at Audubon’s Bobcat Ranch for a day of learning about fire management, sustainable ranching, preservation of grassland bird species, and filming on the property. Video Effects Artist Olivia Ting and Miles created powerful video sketches from that day.
